Securing a cloud network remains of the most complex problems of cloud security. Thankfully, Google Cloud offers a host of services that, when combined with techniques like load balancing, virtual private cloud (VPC), etc., can help you build systems that securely store and deliver content to your users.
This course begins with a look into Google VPC, where we learn about firewall rules, logging, peering, and cloud NAT. From there, we move on to load balancing, where you’ll also get a demo on how to use Cloud Armor load balancing. Next, we’ll explore Cloud DNS and CDN, and finally, we’ll take a deep-dive into Google Private Access.
Every lesson in this course gives you a hands-on experience with detailed labs. You’ll get to learn with step-by-step instructions on real-world GCP instances and workflows. At the end of this course, you’ll be able to confidently secure a network on Google Cloud with the techniques you learned here.
